Friday Fancies and Weekend Temptations

Hey there my lovelies!  How are you all doing?  Summer has finally descended here in Britain and it is b-e-a-utiful!  I'm finally over my cold, have travelled the country for my job and managed to squeeze in a bit of jewellery making.  It's been a busy but wonderful week!

This week I've been living on Salads and fresh fish, fruit smoothies and fresh OJ, it's been just what I needed to get over this cold.  On my travels I've mostly been listening to Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros and am totally in love with their song 'Home', perfect for summer!

In all this heat I've been living in my Zara Linen T-Shirts and Carvela Sandals all week, I love the summer.

And now that summer is here I've been lusting after the perfect summer dress, it's just a shame I can't quite afford it!  If you are lucky enough to be able to then it's available at Browns but it's only available in an Italian size 40 (just my size, oh the torture!)

I'm also loving Ballet flats, perfect for the summer evenings, and these ones from The White Ribbon on Etsy are gorgeous.

In between travelling, working and silversmithing I've been catching up on highlights from the Tour De FranceBradley Wiggins is a legend!  Can't wait to see what he can do at the Olympics.

So the Olympics start today, are you going to any of the events?  If you haven't got tickets but want to join in on the action then why not head over to Hyde park, Victoria Park or Trafalgar Square and watch it all on the big screen.

If you're in London and not interested in watching the Olympics but are feeling a bit sporty then why not head over to Ping London's website and check out where to find your nearest Pop-Up Ping Pong Table.

If you like alternative arts and are in Dorset this weekend then why not head to Weymouth and Portland and check out the b-side Multimedia Arts Festival. It starts on the 29th and runs all week.

Or if you're near Swanage it's Swanage Carnival from the 28th July to the 4th of August, with the Red Arrows displaying at 1pm on the 29th.

As for me, I'm going to be catching up on all the chores after my holiday and busy week, you know the sort of stuff, mowing the lawn, trimming the hedge, mending the hoover!  Fingers crossed this sunshine lasts!

What are you up to this weekend?

Happy Weekend my lovelies. xx
