Handmade Jewellery

I make handmade sterling silver and 9ct gold jewellery in my studio in Bournemouth.  I am inspired by the sea, the natural environment and organic shapes and textures.

I sell my jewellery in my online shop, at local craft fairs, and in galleries & shops across the UK.  I have a number of collections and am always working on new designs.

I am more than happy to take commissions and would be more than happy to talk through your requirements.  Please drop me a line at mardlemade@gmail.com for more info.

Some examples of my work:

Sea Caves Collection: inspired by the South West Coast Path and an open ceiling sea cave I stumbled across.

Surface of the Sea Collection: Inspired by the texture of the surface of the sea.  The surface of the silver is heated until it just begins to melt and forms fluid like features, a process known as reticulation.

A selection of easy to wear, every day studs with differing finishes including; hammered, polished; and satin.

I enjoy working with natural stones & gemstones, and playing with different shape earwires.  I particularly like the angular shapes, they are a little  more unusual.

Bangles:  I work with both sterling silver wire and sterling silver sheet, producing distinctly different shape bangles.
